Medical rehabiliation and recovery

Skopelos island features a Public Health Center. It is staffed with a physician, a pediatrician, 2 agricultural physicians and nurses. A small private clinic is located in Skopelos Town (Chora).  Private cardiologist, dietician and dentist operate at their private offices. There is a microbiology lab.  A gynecologist and an orthopedist are visiting the island on regular basis.

The island enjoyed international acclaim when Hollywood producers chose it to shoot the famous movie “Mamma Mia”, establishing the island as a holiday destination for tourists from all over the world. Skopelos has already been chosen by numerous foreigners as their new home, having created a vivid and active community. English is widely spoken and understood.

Located in Skopelos Town (Chora), Rigas Hotel is an historical 3* hotel, comprised of 40 rooms, 40 studios and 10 apartments.

Sunny Skopelos Winter Residence includes lodging in a Studio about 20m2. All studios have individually controlled A/C (cold and hot air), fully equipped kitchenette and kitchenware, mini refrigerator, telephone, satellite TV, Wi – Fi internet connection. Their bathrooms feature either a shower or a bathtub. All studios have a spacious veranda with outdoor furniture with views over the garden and pool area.

Studios are equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed or 2 single beds and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. A baby cot is available upon request.

For the “Sunny Skopelos Winter Residences”, the linen are changed twice a week as well as the room cleaning.

– only 16,00€ per day for one person (in single use)

– only 9,50€ per day/per person (in double use)

– only 7,40€ per day/per person (in triple use)

– pets stay for free

– Continental breakfast, optionally: 3,00€ per person

Notes: Minimum stay 30 days. Rates are per person. Pet policy applies.
